GST Cancellation Process in a Few Easy Steps
How to Cancel GST?
Step 1:
Login to GST portal, navigate to ‘Services’ and select ‘Registration.
Step 2:
Choose 'Application for Cancellation of Registration.'
Step 3:
Fill out the cancellation form and fill in GSTIN, reason for cancellation, and details of stock and tax liability on the cancellation date.
Step 4:
You may withdraw your decision to cancel the GST registration at any time by clicking on 'Withdraw.'
Step 5:
After a successful registration for cancellation, you will get a system-generated ARN and a confirmation message on your email ID and mobile number.
Step 6:
The concerned tax officer will review your application accordingly.
